In 2022, as I was hanging up my photo editor duties after 3 years with LeftLion Magazine, I wrote a quick piece to help photographers who may want some insight on how magazines work, and how they can succeed in getting their photos published in print. Now put online for the first time, I hope some of my scattered thoughts can be useful and inspire!
