In early 2020, Skate Nottingham hosted a series of workshops for children & adults, where they received professional tutoring on design, photography & construction from a host of experts. As well as teaching photography skills, I led a workshop where participants were shown how to plan and curate an exhibition, using all of the imagery that was produced throughout the 2 months.
Following this workshop, I installed the Skate & Create group exhibition in Backlit’s main gallery space, covering 7 rooms. The exhibition included photography, illustration, design plans, skated obstacles, a glow in the dark room, and a film screening room.
